Rooted in the Mountains

My love for plants and natural remedies is deeply rooted in where I come from. My family has called the La Plata mountains home since the 1880s, and I grew up with a deep appreciation for the wild places, plants, and traditions that surrounded me. With a family history that includes a deep curiosity and connection to the natural world, perhaps it’s no coincidence that my path has brought me back to the mountains I’ve always loved.

Today, I’m continuing that connection in my own way—wildcrafting and creating small-batch herbal remedies inspired by the plants and places that feel like home. From handcrafted salves and balms to nourishing tea blends, tinctures, infused honeys and vinegars, elderberry syrup kits, and fire cider, each creation is made with care and intention. My hope is to offer simple, natural ways to support the everyday needs of life while keeping alive the wisdom and traditions of working with the plants around us.
